This machine is approved for the ignition of detonators U (C2) and HU (C4).
HU-detonators need a voltage of at least 3,300 mWC/O.
The required charging voltage of about 1,800V is reached when the built-in voltmeter indicates the red marker.
Ignition is triggered by switching the hand crank from the generator axle to the igniter axle and turning it onto position "ignition".
The crank can be removed after turning it back into position "loading".
At the moment of the triggering the discharge energy reaches its maximum and ensures a safe and reliable triggering for all kinds of permitted detonator kinds.
The approval of the blasting machine of BAM in Germany and LOM in Spain is only valid in its matching leather case.
