A sturdy PVC sheath encloses the wooden core like a box.
The narrow sides are double coated.
The division is under a 0.1 mm thick polyester layer.
So the graduations are protected against abrasion.
Hinges and end brackets are galvanized.
Foldable to 1 m length.
