This extremely useful tool for determining the bore hole depth is a plastic rope with a fiberglass reinforcement.
The core of the tape is made of thousands of fibers encased in a layer of white PVC.
Then the scale is printed with permeating ink and finally encased by a protective layer of clear vinyl.
The scale is printed on both sides and the full number of meters are red.
A swivel on the sturdy hand strap and the snap hook facilitate unraveling when discharging into the borehole.
