This machine is particularly suited for pyrotechnic applications (e.g. large firework displays, cannon firing) as well as other blasting operations where precise timing of ignition is critical (hot masses, geological measurements). The blasting machine features a built-in optical charge indicator for the ignition capacitor and an ignition button to trigger the ignition at any desired moment. Once the ignition capacitor is fully charged, reliable ignition is guaranteed even after extended waiting periods.
The charge level of the ignition capacitor can be checked at any time by briefly turning the hand crank - the glow lamp will light up to confirm the charge. When the crank is removed, a function test lamp illuminates.
The housing is made from a high-quality, impact-resistant aluminium alloy. An electronic interlock and thyristor ignition circuit ensure that triggering via the push button is only possible when the machine is delivering its full output. The stabilisation circuit prevents overcharging of the ignition capacitor. Ignition can be triggered for as long as the ready-to-fire indicator is lit - a minimum of 10 seconds. The energy required to charge the ignition capacitor is generated by turning the built-in hand-crank generator.
