The Surface Blaster was developed to be used worldwide for quarry, civil construction and open pit mining blasting operations. The robust plastic housings of the blaster are additionally equipped with reflective stripes.
Waterproof coded Push-Pull-Connectors for the battery charger and the ignition electrode allow a fast setup of the equipment. An impact protection secures the antenna socket against braking due to bad work conditions.
The blaster can be used in 3 operational modes: local initiation, radio slave and radio master.
The unique safety key secures the device from unauthorized usage. It also automatically switches the radio modes between master and slave.
In order to enable a remote control, at least 2 devices are required.
One is set as a master, the other device(s) as slave.
Local: The device as a single device directly on site.
Slave: The device as part of a set. It serves as a receiving device and executes commands from the master device.
Master: The device as part of a set. It sends the commands to the slaves. Coordinates all slaves.
According to customer requirements each blaster can be equipped with world region 1 (Europe, Africa) CE or region 2 (North- & South America) FCC radio modules with up to 2 km range.
